So looking for a new one at coolblue. Handy comparison options between models. Choice was quickly made for the Bosch DFR067A50.
Installation requires some attention but went smoothly.
You click the extractor hood onto two mounting parts. You screw this onto the inside of the kitchen cabinet beforehand. Two plastic tabs indicate exactly at which height you should place the mounting parts.
Tip: once measured correctly in relation to the back of the cabinet, you can temporarily hold the mounting parts in place - with adhesive tape, for example. This way you can check everything again hands-free, before proceeding to screwing.
The extractor hood removal system is also practical: push in the mounting bolts and turn it 90 degrees.
The operation of the extractor hood is very simple: start at position two, and you can set higher or lower yourself. Noise? Much quieter than the old one! You can hear it, but certainly not too noisy on normal setting 2. So no more doubting whether you want to turn on the hood because of the noise, as with the old one.
There is an intensive setting 4 - you can hear it - and it automatically switches to a lower setting after six minutes.
