According to our drill expert
With its 5-joule impact energy, the Powerplus POWX1175 allows you to drill holes up to 32 millimeters in concrete. This combi hammer also makes holes in other materials just as easily. If your next job is to remove tiles from a wall, that's also not a problem: the turnstop makes sure that you can quickly chisel away. You can get to work right away, as 2 standard chisels and 3 drills are included. In short, the POWX1175 is the perfect piece of equipment to get out a few times a year to use for the tougher jobs.

The reason for the order was to replace my old hammer drill, a home garden and kitchen hammer drill. With a lot of effort I drilled a decent hole in the concrete wall. I have worn out several (good) concrete drills, which turned out to be due to the low quality hammer drill. Since I still have a lot of different drilling jobs to do, I was more or less forced to purchase a good solid hammer drill.
I started looking for rotary hammers on CoolBlue. Looking for a rotary hammer that users say is good value for money. What immediately struck me was the highly regarded Powerplus POWX1155BAG. (4.5 star rated by 40+ users). Just a pity that it comes with a bag, in my opinion not practical for transporting and storing. In the end I came up with the POWX1175 version, because of the similar specifications (slightly better) but with a handy case.
Delivery by CoolBlue was trusted: very good. Ordered before 2300 hours and delivered the next day around 1200 hours.
After unpacking the case and the materials, read the concise but clear manual. But as it turned out, I had a finding that was not stated in the manual: namely a bag with 2 kind of fuses (??) it is not clear to me what it is, I will investigate that and come back to it later. For the rest, the operation and various settings of the rotary hammer speak for themselves (note, there is 1 specific setting that you are not allowed to use, this is clearly indicated in the manual). The hammer drill is bigger than I expected, it certainly feels very robust, which I really like. I was prepared for its heavy weight, it is a bit on the heavy side but I don't mind as I always use the support handle during my jobs.
The first hammer drill and chisel jobs are now behind us. What a great purchase! The hammer drill functions very well, the supplied drills are of very good quality, the jobs are very easy. He drills in concrete with the utmost ease. I was really amazed at how easy and fast the jobs were done. The chiselling job was also very easy. All in all, I am convinced of the high quality of this rotary hammer. A semi-pro rotary hammer for a very competitive price! Highly recommended as a rotary hammer!

definitely recommended. Really surprised of the good quality of this "B brand". Great value for money. It feels very robust. In the past year I have used it to demolish 7 chimneys, a concrete floor and concrete slab garden house. Always went great. The machine really does the job...you just have to hold it.
Many of the reviews say it's a heavy device, but I think it's just right! It's not too heavy for me to hold and even close to the head is no problem. Even the 12-year-old here has enjoyed working with it. The advantage of the weight is that the device stays in place when hammering. With a lighter machine you would have a lot of recoil and so have to put pressure with your arms.

I have used this machine for chipping tiles in a bathroom and removing a concrete floor on dovetails. It is actually just too heavy and too powerful for the tiles, because too much comes off the wall quickly. And after an hour it starts to weigh quite a bit. The floor went fine, not fast but we are talking about a 10cm thick floor here :-) I bought extra chisels but actually the supplied chisels are also fine. It does get very hot, so I wonder how long it will last.
