My Campingaz refrigerator needed to be replaced after years of faithful service. First bought a thermoelectric model because of the good price. Unfortunately, these devices make far too much noise for camping. So I exchanged it for a Mobicool FR40. It is well worth the higher investment. The cool box is very handy and easy to lift because of the large handles. In addition, the compressor is neatly tucked away in the top.

The digital display is very handy, as I never knew exactly how cold it was with my previous cool box. Now I can set it up exactly the way I want. Furthermore, the cool box is very quiet, of course you can hear the fan when it is cooling. But when the set temperature is reached, the compressor shuts off neatly. And you reach this temperature very quickly. When I received the cool box, I immediately tried it (on 230V). Within 30 minutes the temperature had dropped from 23 to 8 degrees. So very fast.
