According to our slowcooker expert
You also use the inner pan on your gas stove or electric hob to roast the meat in advance.
Thanks to the glass lid you can keep a close eye on the cooking process.
The handle of the outer pan remains cold, so that you can easily move the slow cooker.
You keep an eye on the time, because the slow cooker has no timer.
In the Russell Hobbs Cook at Home Searing Slow Cooker 3.5 L, the food is already simmering when you come home in the evening. In this slow cooker you slowly prepare a dish for about 4 people. The only thing you do is fill the pan in the morning with meat or fish and turn it on. You determine the temperature by choosing from 1 of the 3 positions. This way you determine how long the food will last. Do you want to sear meat? That is no problem either. You safely use the non-stick inner pan on the gas stove or on an electric stove. Through the glass lid you can clearly see how far the cooking process is.
So nice: you put all the ingredients in the pan and when you get home your stew, soup or pasta sauce is ready.
