The Qnap TVS-1282T 32GB is a powerful server and is very suitable for storing 4K content safely and professionaly. The NAS has 8 slots for hard drives, 2 M.2 SATA 6GB/s slots, and 4 2.5-inch SSD slots. The SSD slots are intended for caching and enable higher transfer rates. This is why the NAS is ideal for tasks that "require a lot of random IOPS", such as virtualization. With the 3 HDMI ports, you connect the NAS to your TV or media player, and play 4K content without a problem. Thanks to the 2 Thunderbolt-2 slots, you'll transfer files 4 times faster than with USB 3.0. As a result, editing 4K videos on the fly isn't an issue with the TVS-6822T Qnap NAS.
