The Sony Alpha A6500 is a system camera for advanced photographers. Thanks to its many focus points, you'll capture the subject of your photo or video in sharp detail. Fast autofocus and built-in 5-axis image stabilization reduces the impact of blurry photos. You can easily concentrate on your subject by selecting focus points on the touchscreen. The OLED viewfinder prevents glare when you're taking a photo in backlit conditions. You can capture detailed videos by recording in 4K quality with 30fps. When you're taking photos, you can be sure you'll capture all the action accurately with this sturdy, weatherproof camera with a shooting speed of 11fps.
The longer you use this camera, the better it seems to get and the more features you discover. Noticeably heavier than a6300

I've been using the sony a6500 for about 3 months now and I'm still super happy with it. You only really get to know your camera after a few months, which is why my review is only here now. I mainly use the a6500 for video and I'm really super satisfied with it and it delivers really top results. Super fast autofocus, the stabilized sensor makes a very big difference. This Sony is also really a beast for photos! Very fast autofocus for both photo and video. When I made the switch from Canon to Sony, I was afraid of the short battery life, but in itself this is not that bad. If I would give 1 point of criticism, it will go to the screen, it dims in 4k and is sometimes not clearly visible in the sun.

I upgraded from the a6300, and am happy that I did. a6500 has a bigger grip (slightly, but noticeable), also the in body stabilization allows me to take better pictures on my non OSS lenses.
