According to our soundbar expert
The HEOS Bar is a powerful soundbar that you can add to your HEOS multiroom system. This 3.0 soundbar can be connected wirelessly to your HEOS multi-room speakers or HEOS subwoofer, giving you an easy way to expand your system. The optional subwoofer lets you enjoy a deep bass sound, and using the 2 HEOS speakers as rear speakers allows you to set up 5.1 surround sound. Do you want to listen to music wirelessly? Simply stream music from your smartphone, tablet, or computer to the soundbar via the HEOS app. In addition to your own music collection, you'll have access to internet radio or integrated streaming services, such as Spotify.

TLDR; if you're looking for a soundbar that doesn't sound like a soundbar but like a full-fledged stereo, then you must have this! Add the sub and you won't miss a thing.
Prior to: I come from an AV receiver from Denon with two Dali columns in stereo (without sub).
Now that we have bought a new 65" television, it turned out that having two full-sized columns also made it a bit busy / full. It didn't bother me myself, but my wife preferred a somewhat minimalistic look. That was a complex mission , because my wife turned out to love sound quality more than she indicated beforehand!
After reading dozens of reviews and lists, I first came across the Samsung HW MS650. Purchased through the friends of Coolblue and connected. When we played the first track (Nielson - Ice Cold) we were both… disappointed. Anyway, we knew we had to sacrifice some quality. However, when I connected the stereo again and did the same song, I was so sold in one fell swoop that I packed the Samsung again and sent it back immediately. Although the device could play loudly, it sounded like a speaker in a fishbowl, so tinny (excuse those who think the thing sounds nice!).
After I got over that disappointment, I went to some local AV shops to listen. Bose must be good right? I didn't like those soundbars either, Sonos? Too focused on just playing smart music and I want AV. In addition, both had the problem that the focus was too much on bass, causing the middle to distort. I finally came across the Denon HEOS Bar through the same previous reviews. Just as expensive as those Sonos and Bose things but at least from a brand that I highly value.
Ordered with the excellent service from Coolblue, it can always be returned. Connected and at first we thought we heard such a difference again. But back to the Denon+Dali and that difference was not really there at all. In fact, some music sounded even better on the soundbar. WHAT?
After a whole evening back and forth I couldn't really say that there was a decline. Only the stereo effect is narrower, but that makes sense. The quality is unsurpassed, and I really mean that. There is actually bass in it that doesn't kill the middle and that is a technical marvel.
I could talk a lot further about this process but I have to come to a conclusion. I actually thought it would be impossible to replace a good stereo set with a soundbar, but the Denon HEOS convinced me completely. I ended up buying the sub as well, but actually I don't even have to.
The Denon HEOS Bar is an engineering marvel and a device that is REALLY capable of replacing a stereo set. Yes, a hefty price, but the device is audio-technically of such a much higher level, that I think it's worth it. After all, my stereo set was in the same price range.

All-in-one solution in a beautiful design. Sound is very good and bass is sufficiently present despite the lack of the separate subwoofer. So you can save for a while because the price is the biggest setback of this soundbar so far.
The latency is also an issue for me. Audio is lagging so slowing down makes no sense. My TV has no options to adjust this (Philips). So I run into that.

I had first taken a 2nd chance device, but unfortunately it was defective. Took a new one after an imposition of 170€. If your device is defective, just say it honestly, at cool blue they don't make a fuss about it. Don't put your problems on someone else. Top handling at cool blue (Boomsesteenweg)
