According to our IP camera expert
The camera is waterproof, so it's suitable for outdoor use.
The camera has infrared lighting, allowing it to record up to a distance of 20 meters in the dark.
The IP camera can be powered through the network cable, so you won't need a socket near the IP camera.
The camera doesn't have an integrated microphone to allow you to listen in remotely.
The camera does not have integrated speakers to talk back remotely.
Secure your grounds with the Foscam FN3108XE-B4-1T set of 4 outdoor cameras. Connect these cameras to the included network video recorder with a storage space of 1TB and record surveillance images for up to 48 days. You can connect up to 8 cameras to this recorder. Simply mount the cameras on the wall and keep an eye on the surroundings day and night with a maximum distance of 20 meters. The cameras can record at regular intervals or start automatically when motion is detected. For these cameras you don't need a socket, because the power goes via the network cable.
These cameras are certainly not bad during the day, but you won't recognize anyone at night. faces light up, becoming a greedy white spot. and license plates appear to be a luminescent bar (unrecognizable, even after video edit) there are little annoyances here and there, but what bothers me the most is the fact that 1 of the cameras is not working so well anymore, its alarm function is defective. (which concretely means that I have to return the ENTIRE package, all cameras are already installed and the cables are already through the walls)

For a layman with no experience with networking or general PC knowledge, the installation went relatively smoothly. In real time, I am very satisfied with the image quality and night function. The app is also easy to work with. Unfortunately, I am not yet able to connect it to the smart TV to view the images on it. Moreover, you are highly 'advised' to take out the cloud subscription, which costs a minimum of 40 € per camera per year. If you take this subscription, everything works very smoothly and I am certainly satisfied with it. However, I regret that this is not a free service.

This system has been running very satisfactorily for a few months now. Image quality is very good during the day and at night. Basic installation is relatively simple but the system also offers more advanced options.
