Picked up this silver Mark III today on the advice of a real coolblue'r, because I want to make the switch from SLR to system. It really is a compact, strong vintage beauty, in which it has been improved compared to its predecessor.

Changes compared to the Mark II are very nice. Retained what was already good and improvements have been made to the image processor, AF points (from 81 to 121). Especially the grip is now more pleasant. Where the Mark II often used an extra grip, this is no longer necessary with the Mark III. Despite the larger grip, the camera has not become awkwardly large and is only 20 grams heavier. 4K filming is now also possible.

There is also plenty to be found for the advanced / creative photographers among us. The Olympus contains many professional filters that are no longer seen as gimmicks. The quality is very cool, especially of certain 'pop art' and 'bleach' filters.
