According to our label printer expert
Thanks to WiFi, you can print labels from your smartphone or tablet.
Suitable for address, shipping, binder, name tag, and bar code labels.
With the thermal printing technology, your labels are dry as soon as they're printed.
Since there's no battery, the label printer isn't portable.
The DYMO LabelWriter Wireless Label Maker Black is a label maker for printing address labels, labels, ring binder stickers, and barcode labels. Thanks to the WiFi connection, you can print labels wirelessly and directly from your laptop, PC, and your smartphone. You can design your own labels via the DYMO label software on your computer or the mobile app. Because your label printer works wirelessly, you can print from multiple devices. The label printer prints via heat, so you never have to replace ink or cartridges.
After you have finally installed the Dymo labelwriter Wireless, you will immediately benefit from it. It is convenient and fast to print labels. There really aren't enough labels with your device to get started, so you can't really practice much or you have to order a roll of labels right away. They would be better off doing that right away. You have to do some puzzling to find out how you can create multiple address books. I don't really find the app on your mobile very user-friendly and convenient to use. The labels are then really just the way I want them. With the program on the computer, yes. You really need to get some skill at it. And the whole plug & play story is a bit too positive. My technical knowledge and patience are quite good and I must say it took me a while to install the printer. But once you've overcome all that, you'll enjoy it a lot. I would find it useful if there was an overview of which labels I can use for my printer.

Being able to buy the device cheaper via Coolblue's second chance, without defects. After reading the other reviews, I was a bit apprehensive about the installation, but it was done quickly in the end. Four steps:
Once installed, I was able to start printing immediately via the software. Software is outdated in terms of layout, the iPhone app has not shown any updates for years, but it still works fine in the end.
