Initially purchased to automate the garden lighting. The garden lights are wired in series and luckily my switch inside had the necessary 'zero' wire which makes it a really smooth solution. You can now use the switch itself, but when you do not use it, such as on vacation, everything is included in the home automation plan, regardless of how the switch is set. There are smart garden lamps for sale, but these are usually not equipped with the look that I like to see in a garden: low lumen filament flex carbon filament lamps. I will definitely expand this capability further indoors.
