According to our blender expert
The included tamper lets you push the ingredients towards the knife for a smooth and even result.
You can blend a large amount of juice in 1 go, thanks to the pitcher's 2.3-liter capacity.
The pulse function provides extra power, so that you can blend the ingredients thoroughly.
A glass pitcher weighs considerably more than a plastic pitcher.
If you love making a smoothie for yourself and your family members every day, the Bosch SilentMixx MMB65G5M comes in handy. This blender with a 2.3-liter glass pitcher mixes smoothies for a large household in 1 go. The control panel gives you a choice of 3 buttons, and a dial. Start with the ice crush function that makes short work of ice cubes. Once this is mixed, add your favorite fruit and vegetables, press the smoothie button, and within minutes your smoothie is ready. Use the dial to set the correct mixing speed, for example when you want to make soup. The pitcher is heat resistant, so you can mix your pre-cooked, hot vegetables directly in the blender.
Cleaning
User friendliness
Blender performance
First of all, I think the blender is a very nice device, certainly something that should not disappear in the cupboard. I like that the blade is easy to remove and so everything can be cleaned easily. Everything except the knife is dishwasher safe. The size does make it a bit more difficult to get it right in the dishwasher. On the lowest setting there is certainly much less noise than with other blenders, but the faster it goes, the more noise it will make and then it is still quite loud.
The blender is described as HighSpeed, which means I should be able to make oat milk normally without sifting afterwards. I certainly left it on long enough, but it was still less finely blended than what I had hoped/expected.
I have already tried to chop onions with the special chopper piece. With the separate button on the device, not everything was equal and fine (there were still large pieces in it), if I just turned on the blender, the desired effect was not really noticeable. With the chopper mode alone, the onion is really insufficient in pieces. If I add a little extra blend on the lowest setting, part is still large and part is almost pure, so I'm not convinced for that use.
I've already made a lot of smoothies/milkshakes/fruit porridges and because of that my rating has dropped enormously. For a device in this price range, it really doesn't work well in my opinion. The final result is certainly good, but even with a ripe banana at the bottom of the knife, I have to stir at least 7-8 times with the 'stopper' before anything is mixed. Very disappointed in that regard!
When chopping peanuts, I also had a disappointing result. I have tried with small and large amounts, but with each attempt I still have large pieces and even partial powder.

Since my princess (the boss or my wife) wanted to find a blender. Didn't go for the cheapest or most expensive and stuck with Bosch or Philips. Finally chose this one. Especially because of the large glass jug & relatively soft sound. Blending ice cubes or frozen fruit is no problem. Easy to measure for 2 glasses by marking on the jug. Automatic buttons. The smoohty button is just running up for some time. The extra chopper has not been actively used yet. Suction cups on the bottom. Satisfied so far.

when I took the device out of the packaging, my first impression was: nice device and looks very solid! after assembling everything I was ready to make the first smoothie, all ingredients in the blender, on the right setting and never mind turning. The result is much better than my previous appliance! The only drawback I think is the rather large jug that does not fit in my fridge, unless I renovate my fridge, which means I have to pour it into another jug every time!
