I had bought the SC1502 and this as a replacement. Couldn't see this type anywhere in a store so ordered online. Upon receipt, this Kärcher turned out to be a lot smaller and the cord seems to be a bit 'cheaper' plastic. Tested the ironing first, that works fine, lighter and smaller iron. The entire device is small and light, making it easier to take upstairs. When heating up for the first time, the appliance simmers for quite some time until the water has been drawn into the appliance, the following times it will be less. Then cleaned up the bathroom. Small brush and nozzle work well for the joints, hand piece for tiles also fine, only floor piece leaves a lot of moisture, also in my living room on the large tiles. Perhaps this will improve after washing the microfibre cloth? I think the price is on the high side, but practice will show how solid and how long I can enjoy this device and it will therefore turn out to be more than worth its money. The old attachments of the SC1502 don't fit the newer versions because the plug is different (unfortunately) so I couldn't use my old iron which was still good. The stem and floor/hand and nozzles DO fit the new handpiece.
