According to our audio interface expert
You can record sound in high quality thanks to the preamps based on Neve's preamps.
The audio interface's latency is low, since the interface quickly changes an analog signal to a digital signal.
Thanks to the ADAT connector, you can add extra inputs to your setup.
A USB 3.0 audio interface is more susceptible to latency than a Thunderbolt audio interface.
Use the Focusrite Clarett 8Pre USB to record sound and instruments in the recording studio. You can record sound in high quality, thanks to the preamps based on the Rupert Neve's ISA preamps. Connect microphones and instruments to the 8 combined XLR connectors. Since you have a lot of inputs at your disposal, the Clarett is suitable for recording tapes. The audio interface has a low latency. This is because of the fast conversion from an analog signal to a digital one, and vice versa. You connect the interface to your computer with a USB connector. Thanks to the ADAT connector, you can add extra audio inputs. That way, you can expand the Clarett if you're running short on inputs.
