Main considerations were the size of the grilling surface, the enamelled cast iron grid (hopefully no rust) and easy cleaning (although according to American tradition you should definitely not over-clean the BBQ). The box is quite intimidating, especially when you consider how many separate parts the BBQ consists of (and the size of the manual). The manual is easy to follow for a reasonable handyman; a good screwdriver and an adjustable wrench (baco) are needed. Count on approximately 3 hours (for 1 person) to build it up (including connecting the separately purchased tank and hose). The BBQ was christened during the family visit, so we had to wait and see if the BBQ would really work as expected. The combination of grill and “griddle” is ideal, especially if you want to grill some vegetables. The extra rack is ideal for keeping things warm or, if the burners are high, for even cooking further.
