According to our mobile phone expert
The large battery in the Motorola Moto E5 Plus lasts for more than a day on a single charge. As such, you don't have to worry about whether there's a socket nearby. If you still need to charge, the quick charge function replenishes enough battery for 6 hours of use in only 15 minutes. Watch movies and check your Instagram on the Moto E5 Plus's large 6-inch screen, which remains a compact device thanks to its thin bezels. The E5 Plus, with its 32GB of storage, also has enough space for your favorite apps, photos, and videos.

I bought this phone as a successor to the E4 Plus. The great battery life of the E4 was fine. Charging twice a week was enough. The E5 Plus certainly lasts just as long, but is a much better phone than its predecessor. A lot faster, a better screen, a much better camera and the fingerprint sensor in the right place (on the back).
Compared to much more expensive premium phones, you have to sacrifice surprisingly little. Of course, if you want pictures that jump off the screen, or a fast gaming machine, then you have to go to the top. But in daily use, this Moto is just as nice. Better perhaps, because of the Android without bells and whistles.
The screen is not full HD, but very bright and nice and large. Great to watch a video. The single speaker is of course quite tinny, but that is the case with many phones. Fortunately, there is still an input for headphones.
The camera is sufficient, especially during the day, to shoot neat pictures for social media. When magnified, the details in the background become somewhat blurred.
It is a pity that the power cable has to be screwed into a micro-USB port. USB-C is much nicer.
The size and weight can be a problem for in the pocket. But for summer, jacketless days, I still have a tiny iPhone SE on hand.
The biggest plus of the Moto remains the excellent battery life. With that, the E5 Plus amply beats all competition.

As a reserve, this Motorola has yet to prove its worth.

Big screen, not with the ultra high resolution of the G6 but that costs almost double. A bit of a shame that the screens are evolving to 1/2 instead of 16/9. As a result, the screen is slightly less wide than you might think, and the width determines how generous the keyboard is. So choose a size more. There is no LED that flashes when you have a message, but if you touch it the screen will turn on for a moment and then you will see logos of the apps that have notifications. As a result, you need the on-off button much less, very nice! 32GB internal so a 'normal person' no longer needs an SD. Device responds quickly. I don't like the camera a bit, it is difficult to deal with backlighting and such, you quickly get black silhouettes and burnt-out whites, where iPhones still achieve good exposures.
