You can use the Sonos Beam to select the sound reproduction for your movies, series, or music tracks. The soundbar has a standard mode, night mode, and a speech amplification mode. In night mode, the bass sound is automatically reduced. This way, sleeping family members won't be woken up by the sound. The voice enhancement mode boosts conversations, improving stand-up shows, talk shows, and series. The built-in Google Assistant lets you operate your music or ask after the latest news, traffic information, or the weather. Stream music directly via Airplay 2, Google Chromecast, SonosNet, or Spotify Connect via WiFi and connect your smartphone or tablet with the speaker. Connect the Beam to other Sonos speakers for a home cinema or multi-room setup. Easily control all of the speakers via the Sonos app on your smartphone or tablet.
Note: Sonos products don't work with the 5GHz network, so you should always make sure your WiFi is installed on the 2.4GHz network before buying a Sonos product.Connecting the Sonos Beam to your TV Use the included HDMI ARC cable or the included optical cable to connect your soundbar to your television. Note that your TV must have an HDMI ARC or optical connector to be able to use the Beam.

After my experiences with the LG SK8 soundbar, the Sonos Beam was a breath of fresh air. Seamless, quick setup, amazing audio quality and the ability to easily stream any audio from any source. I've been using it daily for a month now, and yet to run into any notable problems. The one slight complaint that I have is that it can only operate on 2.4 GHz WiFi, and does not support 5 GHz - but this very unlikely to cause a problem for the overwhelming majority of people.
I was very pleasantly surprised by the sound quality. Given the lack of subwoofer, I expected the sound to feel hollow, but nothing could be farther from the truth. The Sonos Beam sounds simply amazing, and that's not something I say lightly.
This is definitely the soundbar I would recommend to anyone who has ~400 EURs to spend. It's worth it.
