According to our internal memory expert
Crucial offers limited lifetime warranty on its products.
This memory module has been specially developed for use in Apple Macbook, iMac and Mac Mini.
This memory card does not work on all Apple products, check in advance if the working memory is compatible with your Apple Macbook, iMac and Mac Mini.
Note: This RAM module only fits in laptops or Mac computers, this RAM is not suitable for a desktop with another system. The computer must have a DDR3 connection, check this in Windows task manager, more details, under the performance heading. With memory there is DDR3 or DDR4. In case there is nothing about the connection here you need a DDR4 and this module does not fit.
Expand the memory of your Apple Macbook, iMac and Mac Mini with the Crucial 16 GB SODIMM DDR3L-1600 module for Mac. This RAM set consists of 2 x 8 gigabyte memory cards that are specially made for Apple computers. These DDR3L memory modules have a clock speed of 1600 MHz. Crucial also gives a limited lifetime warranty on this product.

My old Mac Mini (model late 2012, MacOS Mojave 10.14.6) is now mainly used by daughter for school work (especially Office applications) and also serves her as a streaming station (mainly Netflix, Amazon Prime, Youtube) and occasionally also some video editing (Tik Tok huh) and Garage band. In original configuration 4 GB on board but this became a bit tight because more than regularly we had the rainbow spinning wheel and browser windows & sessions occasionally crashed. Before carrying out the last possible upgrade to Catalina decided to add maximum possible RAM memory: doubted between this 2x 8 GB Crucial set and 2x 8 GB Corsair set. Clarification of compatibility Mac Mini and DDR3L (variable voltage & low power) and a longer warranty period at Crucial were decisive, even though there was a larger price difference (Crucial price has risen considerably compared to Corsair). Installation in Mac Mini is a bit of a mess for the bottom slat, but after a second attempt, MacOS recognizes the memory slats without any problems. Quick performance test after installation (multi tab browser, office packages, video tools opened, VLC...) confirms higher performance and no spinning color wheel so far.
