This simple device is more than enough for training.

Very easy to use. You don't have to study for 3 days to understand the data on the display.
No electrical cord lying around - the display works with batteries.
A more expensive and heavier device is certainly not necessary for me. In the end, it's all about consuming calories and that works out fine.
Fortunately, I am technically inclined to assemble this device, but I still had to call for help once to attach the mechanical cable together.
