According to our gimbal expert
The FeiyuTech AK2000 is a gimbal for a mirrorless or small SLR camera. The maximum camera weight capacity of the stabilizer is 2.8 kilos. Thanks to the 3 axes, the gimbal can rotate 360 degrees. You can adjust the settings of the gimbal on the touchscreen. That way, you can fix an axis or set up movements for a timelapse in advance. On the side, there's a dial to focus, zoom in and out, and rotate the gimbal with. You can connect your camera to the gimbal via WiFi. This way, you can focus and zoom easily. If your camera doesn't have WiFi, you can do this via a cable. Use Bluetooth to connect your smartphone to the gimbal. You can adjust settings such as the shutter speed and white balance via your phone.

The Feiyu ak2000 (and ak4000) is definitely the best dslr gimbal of the moment. 360 degree tilt/pan/roll... long battery life... sturdy construction and robust handle. With many gimbals, after balancing one arm, you have to go back to the previously balanced arm because they unbalance each other. This is not the case with the ak2000, once balanced; then the arm remains balanced. Big plus! The controls are phenomenal, the 7 follow functions are incredible, the lock button works well and all buttons feel quality, the wifi always works, double-arm optional is great as an extension, sturdy metal tripod is a great pleasure; every time you put the gimbal down gives a lot of confidence. Tips; For light cameras you have to remove a cap at the bottom of the roller arm, otherwise you cannot balance the light mirrorless cameras. Unfortunately, follow focus doesn't work with Sony cameras. This isn't a Feiyu flaw, but Sony is keeping the data needed to make this possible. Until now, therefore, no gimbal can remotely control the focus of a Sony camera. So you have to use the Feiyu follow foxus 1 or 2 (or a sony remote control). I hate mechanical follow focus, but once set up properly it works reasonably well. There is a list on the feiyu website which cameras do work with the digital follow focus. In my case I use a field monitor (or iPhone field monitor) and mounting it on the gimbal works great. I would just like to ask Feiyu to add usb charging. Set up the gimbal, plug in, and charge. Now the tripod has to come off, the batteries out, get the battery charger and charge; bit cumbersome. The included follow focus with this package is not follow focus 1; it's a give-away follow focus, worse than the follow focus 1, basically completely useless as it can't move smoothly. Then it's even better to turn a lever on your lens and thus adjust the focus.

A good gimbal for a good price. You can take beautiful shots on your own. The gimbal makes it much less dependent on a crew and makes it much easier to shoot beautiful images yourself. Highly recommended.
