According to our WiFi speaker expert
Listen to your favorite music, movies, and series wirelessly with the Citation ONE smart speaker. This set of smart speakers forms a stereo pair when you place a them on opposite sides of the room. You can stream music via WiFi or Bluetooth with your smartphone. This way, you can easily listen to your favorite playlist via Spotify or YouTube. Do you enjoy working with voice control? With the built-in Google Assistant, you can also control the speaker with voice commands. This way you can easily turn the volume up or down or ask it to play your favorite song. With the Assistant, you also operate your home's smart equipment and you're always informed of your schedule, the weather, and any traffic jams. You can't connect the WiFi speakers to the Harman Kardon soundbar. You'll need the Citation Surround speakers for that.

Owned these speakers for a few days now. Combined with soundbar and sub from citation series. The sound is overwhelmingly warm. It's amazing that such a warm sound can come from such a small speaker. For this I had a set with columns and assumed that sound quality would deteriorate because a speaker simply needs a sound box. I'm even thinking about returning the sub because the sound is more than sufficient and warm without the sub. If you are an audio enthusiast and do not want to compromise on sound quality, but do want to switch to a smaller wireless speaker set, then this set is definitely worth considering.

I have been using the Harman Kardon Citation ONE for over a week now, and not entirely positive. I think the design is very nice, the sound is good, but especially the bass I think is too thick and too present. The Spotify equalizer has to work hard to reduce that somewhat to pleasantly warm proportions. I read on the Harman Kardon site that they have been thinking that for a long time, but an equalizer in the google home is still missing.
I bought a duo set, a recommended combination with a suspension bracket. I hadn't read it completely correctly, because I thought I also bought a set of suspension brackets with a duo set, logical right? Unfortunately not, after unpacking and having thoroughly searched the box again, it turned out that there was only one suspension bracket, I could buy one more expensive suspension bracket (without discount) and wait again. Anyway, after buying longer cables, because the socket is of course too far away, both Citations are neatly hung up and configured in stereo via google home.
Connecting to Wi-Fi is automatic, setting it via google home is easy (because I've already done that with other stuff). Bluetooth works well, via airplay only mono, at least stereo cannot be heard as stereo. Playing in stereo via google cast sounds rather vague, then the emphasis on the left speaker and then on the right again, not very pleasant to hear if you really want to listen to music. Sometimes there is also a nasty tick in the sound. What strikes me and is disappointing is the enormous amount of light on the speaker, green LED on the back (yes the speaker is on), blue stripe on the front that is played via Bluetooth and an orange stripe on the front that the google assistant ( microphone) is turned off (or are they secretly listening in?). But why so much annoying light? Turn off! But that is not possible via the google home app, nor via another app, why not? Too bad the dependency on the Google home app is so great.
Would I buy the duo Harman Kardon Citation again after this experience? Yes, but what a pity that the appreciation and experience ultimately depend on the google home app. An update of that google home app would help enormously in making the same choice, so real and stable stereo, an equalizer/bass/treble and all lights off (a night mode is also allowed).

Nice product to see with very good sound quality. In terms of bass, you would think that there is a subwoofer in it.
