I would like to mention that I also have a blender and extensive food processor. While unpacking I noticed that the hand blender is quite heavy but it is solid. First I made a mistake with the lid of the chopper. So it cannot be put in the dishwasher. Unfortunately I did and it was full of water. Took a long time to shake out the water but it worked. Adding was easy because you could leave the stick blender motor on the lid and then just open the chopper. The bowl was very full which meant that I had to put my fingers in the smoothie to remove the cutting plate. Not hygienic. All in all, the cutter is a nice product that works well, but I do have some caveats. Positive are the suction cups under the bowl and the sealing lid to store your product. A measuring cup is also included. Nice big. Also with closing lid to store your prepared product. Glad you don't have to throw it over. Mayonnaise made with a stick blender according to the recipe in the manual. This went well and was made in a jiffy. There are 2 booklets of instructions for use which are suitable for multiple versions of this hand blender. I have taken the booklets several times to look for information. I found this all a bit messy because a lot of it didn't apply to the implementation that I was allowed to test. Personally, I think the set is pricey, but I also have other devices that are also suitable for my use. My advice is to take a good look at what I want with this device and make an informed choice.
