In terms of operation, stability, etc., this device is worth 4 or 5 stars, but not due to 1 weak part. At the bottom of the heavy glass jug is a hard plastic ring with lugs (bayonet closure) in it with which you secure it a quarter turn in the motor housing. That ring is made of hard, very thin plastic and very vulnerable. A filled pitcher just weighs 3 kilos and if you put it on the machine, that ring can break off just like that.
