According to our mount for video cameras expert
You can attach your camera to special places for unique perspectives with this Suction Cup.
With its 1/4-inch screw thread connector and GoPro adapter, the cup is suitable for different types of cameras.
It's not a good idea to attach a large or heavy camera to this mount.
With the Caruba Suction Cup PRO Mount, you can attach your compact or action camera to a flat surface. The suction cup has a 1/4-inch screw thread connector which allows you to attach various cameras to the mount. In addition, a GoPro adapter is included to connect your action camera to. This way, you can use the suction cup for different situations. For example, you can attach it to the front of your car to make spectacular recordings of your drive. The suction cup is powerful enough, so you don't have to worry it'll fall off. This makes it suitable for professional use and hobbyists.

The lever to attach it is too short and therefore difficult to handle. With a better handle, this product would be much more convenient to use.

Nice tripod. Especially useful for smooth surfaces (such as a car, table, etc.). I wanted to use it for my supboard, but it doesn't clamp on it because the surface is not smooth. Otherwise a great tripod, definitely recommended if you're looking for something similar.

Bought for use on a kayak, which has a very smooth surface. But it doesn't stick well enough; Vaseline wasn't the solution either. It does stick to the window, though.
