According to our smoke detector expert
You'll receive notifications via the Trust app when you connect the detectors to a base station.
The detectors work on batteries, so they're wireless and can be placed anywhere.
Connect the detectors to IFTTT to let them work together with your other smart devices.
The smart functions of the detectors can't be used without a bridge or base station.
The battery of these detectors has a shorter lifespan than smoke detectors with a battery with a lifespan of 5 or 10 years.
Let the smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector in this pack work together by connecting them to a KlikAanKlikUit Bridge. This allows you to hear if a fire or dangerous gas is developing in several places in the house. After you connect the detectors, you'll receive notifications via the app on your smartphone when smoke or carbon monoxide is detected. You'll also receive a notification via the app when the battery needs to be replaced or if the sensor no longer fully functions. If something is detected, you'll hear a noise of 85dB indoors. Make sure to test if the detectors still work via the test switch once a month.
