According to our soundbar expert
Because Dolby Atmos reflects effects to your listening position via the ceiling, the sound is extra spacious.
You can stream your favorite music wirelessly via Bluetooth.
An HDMI cable isn't included.
The LG DSN7CY provides your television with spatial audio. If you want to enjoy a surround setup, buy 2 rear speakers and an optional subwoofer. Thanks to Dolby Atmos, it feels like you're in the middle of your favorite movie or series. The speakers in the soundbar are directed upwards so that they reflect the sound to your listening position via the ceiling. This way, it sounds like the helicopter really flies overhead. Has the movie ended? Stream your favorite music to the speakers wirelessly via Bluetooth.
Easy to connect via HDMI. Soundbar alone is too weak. With rear speakers and extra subwoofer it is sublime. Atmosphere works well. Clear difference between atmos and 5.1 surround. I connected an extra soundbar with subwoofer because bass was too weak. So this LG Soundbar HDMI Arc connected (is needed for Atmos) and other LG Soundbar optically connected for extra subwoofer. The sound is now superb. So this Atmos soundbar + rear speakers and extra woofer give really sublime sound.

First of all, the soundbar looks good in terms of design. The LCD screen on the front is also nice, which I missed a lot with my old soundbar. The sound is fine, especially the spatial aspect through the speakers in the top is good. What is disappointing is the bass, which could be better even with the lack of a subwoofer. What I really like is that the soundbar switches on immediately when you turn on the TV, which ensures a lot of ease of use. I do have problems connecting the bluetooth, with both my phone and the Google Home, the connection of this always disconnects after a few seconds.

Would recommend it, can test it right now. With a separate woofer the sound would have been better but definitely recommended
