According to our phone case expert
This case offers the maximum protection for your smartphone, also against fall damage.
A protective cover prevents dust or sand from entering your charging port.
Use the belt clip as a stand to stand your device upright.
You can't click MagSafe accessories on this thick cover.
Because this case is relatively large, your smartphone won't fit in your pocket or bag as easily.
The OtterBox Defender Apple iPhone 12 / 12 Pro Back Cover Black prevents damage to your smartphone, even if you drop your device regularly. The sturdy and thick case consists of several layers that prevent scratches, cracks, and dents. The Defender also prevents fall damage. That means your device will still be intact after a drop from up to 2 meters. Since the thick edges come up higher than the screen of your device, the case also helps to prevent scratches. It has protective covers for your buttons and connectors, so that sand, dust, or other debris can't get in. The outer protective layer has a belt clip. You can also use this clip as a standard to place your Apple iPhone 12 / 12 Pro upright, for example when you're watching a video.

I knew what I wanted. Otterbox also purchased for iPad years ago. Now also a great choice for the iPhone 12.

Been happy with Otterbox for years, especially because I drop my phone a lot. The only downside is that there is no screen anymore, I ordered a separate screen from Otterbox.
