According to our projector expert
The low input lag minimizes the delay between the controller and the on-screen action while you game.
Thanks to the high light output, you still get a clear projection in a large and lighter room.
This projector doesn't have a smart platform, so you can only play content via a laptop or Chromecast, for example.
With the Optoma HD29HLVx, you project clear and sharp images. Thanks to the Full HD support, you don't miss anything of your favorite movie or the games you play. Even small details like the leaves on a tree appear on the screen sharply. Thanks to the low input lag of this projector, you barely notice a delay between the controller and the action of the game while you play. This way, your opponent can never be one step ahead of you. The high light output of 4500 ANSI lumens ensures that you get a clear and bright projection in larger and lighter rooms as well. That means you can easily leave the curtains open in your room when you watch a movie on the big screen.
The Optoma HD29HLV has a throw ratio of 1.12 - 1.47:1, which means you need to place the projector between 1.12 and 1.47m away from the screen for a 1m wide projection. For a 2m wide projection, double these distances to 2.24 - 2.94m. So first check where you want to place the projector and if there's enough room there.
very good experience so far (2 weeks in use)

Was looking for a beamer for the garden room, so a reasonable illuminated space. First tried a (cheap) portable beamer (wifi/BT so easy streaming, I thought). Image in a lit room was barely visible, so I looked for a beamer with more ANSI Lumen, put everything in a row and ended up with the Optoma HD29HVLx. What a difference (put both projectors next to each other and connected). Her sharp image, even during the day. in terms of noise (sound) much quieter, barely audible. distance from the beamer to the (white) wall is 3.2m, this allows you to create a 100" projection (screen is not necessarily necessary). Easy to adjust through settings to the correct dimensions and easy to focus. Streaming from a chromecast is possible from your phone or laptop no problem, no cables required, no slowing down or stuttering images (e.g. sports matches). Loudspeaker is of lesser quality, an alternative speaker is definitely recommended if you want to use it as a home cinema.
