I am positively surprised by this steam generator. The device is compact in size and therefore easy to store. After connecting, it quickly reaches temperature and cools down quickly after disconnection. For this I used a steam iron, this really makes a world of difference. Due to the steam boost that this generator gives, the creases are ironed away in no time and it makes a huge difference in the time I spend ironing. The price and quality ratio is in good proportion, so highly recommended!

I am very disappointed in this steam generator. I did more than 12 years with my previous Philips steam generator. This only needed to be replaced because the cord was worn, otherwise the device still performed excellently. Did a lot of research and came up with this affordable steam generator.
After 2x ironing, dirty steam came out of the machine, so the clothes had to be washed again... The third ironing happened again and I started descaling. This seemed quite strange to me after ironing 3x briefly, but yes it seemed to me the only solution. Sure enough, so much filth came out that I have the idea that the device has been used before... :-(
There are also dirty spots under the iron due to the dirt that comes out. Despite descaling, dirt continues to come out of the iron.
In addition to this enormous annoyance, the appliance steams a lot less than my old appliance, while by comparison with my old appliance the steam power should be at least double. The steam power I expected will come, but only when I stop holding the steam button and reset the iron while ironing...
In addition, I find the iron itself a bit on the heavy side and it does not glide smoothly over the fabric, is sometimes stiff and that makes it extra heavy.
I iron daily so I regret this purchase.
All in all, I would have been better off replacing the cord of my old device, so I would never have bought this device...
