According to our Bluetooth speaker expert
With the built-in light effects, you can synchronize your light show to the beat of the music.
Sing and play the night away thanks to the microphone and guitar input.
You can connect another JBL Partybox 110 for a louder sound.
The speaker is splash proof and not completely waterproof.
Bought two of these speakers last week after seeing various review videos via a well-known video platform. I deliberately bought 2 speakers to optimally enjoy stereo sound.
As a hobby DJ I was looking for an affordable speaker set that can also be connected to a mixing console without the intervention of a separate amplifier. These speakers are perfect for that. There is a cover on the back with multiple connection options. A great jack for a microphone and a guitar. These can also be adjusted separately in terms of input volume. There is a line-in and out in the form of a 3.5 mm jack. So you can connect an analog source.
In case of wired connection: So I used two separate 3.5 mm jack to tulip cables from a mixing console. Otherwise you have two stereo boxes with both a left and right channel in it. And that doesn't sound nice. By using two separate cables, they are really left and right. With looping (daisychain) the sound of 1 speaker became too soft. And so you get to hear left and right mixed up.
Stream audio via bluetooth: The speaker itself is therefore stereo. After all, there are 2 boxes in 1 box. In the TWS stereo mode they immediately become mono anyway. (Left or right) In that case with 2 speakers you have excellent stereo sound. A disadvantage is that if you stream via Bluetooth and have the TWS stereo mode on, there is a delay. Of course you won't notice this if you just play music from a phone, tablet or laptop, but suppose you have a TV that can broadcast bluetooth and you connect these speakers to that TV and then turn on the TWS mode. Then the mouths move a little earlier than you hear voices.
Usage: You can use it outside and in not too large indoor spaces to play great music when there is a party. It doesn't have to be very loud either. Otherwise you should look at the 310 or the even bigger brothers of this series. It is a pity that there are no small wheels underneath. But you can easily lift them by the handles at the top and bottom.
As for sound quality. This one is very good! Everything is pure. Low, medium and high. The Bass Boost function is also very nice on setting 1. On setting 2 it amplifies the higher bass more and I personally find the sound less. But that's taste. JBL makes excellent products in that regard! All types of music sound great on this. From deep house to classical and opera.
It's useful to know. If you disconnect the speaker from the mains and therefore let it work on the battery, it will go slightly softer. I also understood from the videos that yes can find about it, that the battery life is never 12 hours. But with normal use you should be able to use it for at least 8 to 9 hours.
The app on your phone is a must. With this you can operate and set everything. Did a firmware upgrade immediately. You can also use the app to set the light show, but also to turn it off. In Karaoke mode add reverb and control bass and treble etc. The stroboscope is nice, but not a must have. I don't use this one. The colored light effects are very cool. This is especially fun to turn on at a party.
I hope to be able to help you with my review if you are also interested in these speaker(s). I give them a very solid 9 on a scale of 1 to 10
An absolute must if you are looking for a speaker (set) that is between the professional and home, garden, kitchen segment.

As a Partybox 100 owner, I obviously had to go and see the differences with the Partybox 110. The Partybox 110 is a somewhat more refined version of the Partybox 100, when it comes to the appearance. The 110, for example, has 2 turning wheels at the top with which the light show and the volume can be adjusted. This works smoother and faster than with the push buttons found on its predecessor. The light show now has 5 positions instead of 3 (and off) and the stroboscopes are now located outside the speaker grill, making them brighter and creating more atmosphere. In addition, the 110 is IPX4 certified, which means that it can withstand a splash of water. This is made possible by the closing cap over the connections, which are located on the back of the speaker. If it starts to rain during your party, you have a little more time to ensure that the speaker can be safely placed in a dry place. Very nice with the changeable weather in the Netherlands.
The bass is nice and full and the sound is a bit more open due to the more refined highs. The sound also comes into its own better, because the speaker is positioned more obliquely upwards. These speakers are usually placed on the floor. However, it is possible to place both the 110 and the 100 on a tripod. However... here I stumble over the design of the 110, because it is angled upwards. So if it were placed on a tripod, it would send the sound more upwards, over the listener, so that this will influence the sound. This is just nitpicking, but I'd rather mention it.
But the final question is.... Is the Partybox 110 better than its predecessor; The Partybox 100. The answer; Yes and no. Both speakers have their advantages and disadvantages and in some situations one performs better than the other. I have listed all the pros and cons for you below:

If you are a basshead, then choose the new Partybox 110. It has more bass on board and provides a slightly fuller sound. Unfortunately, this is at the expense of some midtones, so that vocals are less audible than with its predecessor.
If you listen more diversely, I personally think the Partybox 100 is the better choice. It has a better punch in the deep bass, so it still hits what you need, while giving the sound a little more room for the mids, allowing more elements to be heard. Slightly less refined highs compared to the 110, so that it sounds slightly less open, but this difference is not very large.
Hopefully this will help you make the right choice, provided the 100 is still for sale somewhere.
The Partybox 110 gets 4 stars from me, because it is a somewhat less all-rounder than the 100, but it is still a Partybox and the speaker meets that perfectly. I absolutely recommend him.
