Wow! What a great slow cooker! I've been using a slow cooker for over 25 years—the old one was finally giving up the ghost. I hesitated about this one for a long time because it's much more expensive than the average slow cooker. I've used it every day for a week now. What a great investment! My previous slow cooker didn't have a steaming function or searing options. The fact that this one does makes it a truly sound investment. Yesterday I steamed salmon—today a soup. I say go for it, and no, I don't own any shares in Greenpan :-)

Very happy with my purchase. I have wanted to buy a slow cooker for a while and PFAS free was an important point for me. It is also on my counter in plain sight so I also wanted it to be a nice pan. Both of these requirements have been met. I have already made a number of delicious dishes in it. The frying (sauté) function is also very handy. So I don't have to use different pans. The pan is very user-friendly, easy to operate and does what it is supposed to do! In short, very happy with it!!!

According to our slowcooker expert
Steam without moisture: with the steam rack, you can steam vegetables and fish in your slowcooker without them sitting in the liquid.
Sear directly in the same pan: you first sear ingredients in the same pan for extra flavor with the sauté function.
Food stays warm for a long time: you don’t have to reheat the food because the slowcooker keeps it warm for 8 hours.
No timer: you’ll need to keep track of the time yourself, because the slowcooker doesn’t have a timer.
Short cord: because of the short 1-meter cord, you can only place the slowcooker near a socket.
