Apple AirPods Pro 2

Replacement of my old Airpods Pro2. Have been stolen but can still track them. Are now used in Brazil, Soa Paulo! I was satisfied and therefore purchased the new AirPods 2 USB-C. I experience a better sound than the old one and I think volume control is a real plus.

I have been a hearing aid user for about 20 years, currently with moderate hearing loss (L52dB R42dB). I use good quality hearing aids from a well-known audiologist. With these hearing aids, the usual problems occur, for example when listening in company and listening to music. The final sound quality is also moderate. Not being able to listen well in company (+2 people) is a very annoying and socially undesirable situation. The fact that I can no longer hear music (audio and live) well, I accepted years ago and considered it a fait accompli. Last summer I read in the media that Apple was developing hearing software for the AirPods Pro2, something that naturally caught my interest. In the end, I purchased these AirPods Pro2 with the software in question last December. First, I did the hearing test with the AirPods, which ultimately produced an almost identical hearing diagram as the professional organizations (BeterHoren, UMC Groningen), which gave me confidence. And then the use… I was able to participate in conversations in larger groups again, even in a busy restaurant I can understand my neighbour and neighbour across the street, unique! I can enjoy music again, the adjustment of the AirPods to my hearing also applies to listening to audio, fantastic! And last but not least, great sound quality. Indoors I now mainly use the AirPods. The AirPods Pro2 cost a fraction of the amount that my hearing aids cost and are a very welcome addition that in many cases function better than the hearing aids. I thank Apple for the development of this software and hope that this development will continue, who knows what beautiful things will come along.
