With the Samsung Neo QLED 8K QN800D (2024), I enjoy razor-sharp and colorful images. Thanks to the anti-reflection layer, I don't see any annoying reflections on the screen, for example from sunlight.
Sharp images
Because the screen has an 8K resolution, I can see a lot of details. This makes the images very realistic. The images are strikingly colorful thanks to the QLED technology. This is due to the thousands of small lights in the screen, each showing its own color. The disadvantage is that there is little 8K content, but the smart processor converts 4K content into 8K. More and more 8K content is being created.
Strong contrast
The QN800D has a strong contrast thanks to the mini-LED local dimming. With this technology, there are thousands of pixels in the screen that light up or dim individually. This allows me to see more details while watching films and series. It strikes me that dark is really dark. Thanks to the wide viewing angle, I can watch TV from every corner of the room. Thanks to the anti-reflection layer, I don't see any annoying reflections of artificial or daylight on the screen. This ensures that images remain clearly visible.
Neat TV setup
I connect all peripheral equipment, such as my soundbar, via the One Connect Box box. I connect the box to the TV, so that only one cable runs to the TV. This allows me to create a modern and sleek TV setup. I open the Tizen smart menu to watch a nice movie. The smart menu looks clear and quickly takes me to my favorite streaming services, such as Netflix and YouTube. The included Solar One Remote is also very easy to use because it has few buttons. The remote control charges with artificial and daylight, so I don't need batteries.
