Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 4G Silver/Black 47mm

Over the past few weeks, I have been testing the Galaxy Watch Ultra. This smartwatch has a beautiful design and is a real eye-catcher, but it is quite large, which makes it especially suitable for people with longer arms and hands. The battery life is impressive: up to four days, even after intensive workouts. The smartwatch automatically switches to activities such as walking and cycling, so you can easily keep track of your movement. It also monitors your heart rate and sends notifications in unwanted situations, such as a fall or a too high heart rate. In addition, the smartwatch works perfectly with my Samsung smartphone; calling is possible without loss of quality. In short, a stylish and functional gadget for your wrist!

What a beautiful watch is that Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra! It feels super luxurious and looks sleek. You notice that Samsung has paid a lot of attention to the design. Unfortunately, the battery life is a weak point: after a maximum of two days I have to charge it again. I have to say that I have everything on, including the Always On display, but for a smartwatch in this price range I had hoped for a little more. I also miss that certain AI functions are not available in Dutch, such as the message assistant. But to be fair, the integration within the Samsung ecosystem makes up for a lot. My phone and even my TV work super smoothly with it!

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 47mm LTE Titanium Gray exceeded my expectations in several ways. The battery life is one of the biggest plus points: I can easily get 2 days on a full charge, even when I use the watch intensively for sports and other activities. This is a significant improvement over my previous Galaxy Watch6 Classic. The robust titanium design feels premium and exudes strength. Although the watch is a bit heavier than my previous smartwatch, I find that to be an advantage, because it gives a feeling of durability. The only downside I experienced is that the included orange strap quickly discolours due to friction with clothing. Despite this issue, the strap remains comfortable during daily use. The installation went smoothly and quickly. All my data and settings from the Watch6 Classic were transferred without any problems, and I could start using the watch right away. The screen is beautiful: bright, fast and perfect for viewing notifications or tracking health. While I miss the physical rotating bezel of the Watch6 Classic, the power and speed of the Watch Ultra more than makes up for it. The watch fits perfectly into the Samsung ecosystem and offers an impressive user experience for both everyday use and sports activities.
