According to our robot lawn mower expert
The robot lawn mower works without perimeter wire, so you can get started without a difficult installation.
Via the app on your smartphone or tablet, you can easily control the robot lawn mower remotely.
Thanks to the 45% maximum incline, you can also mow hilly lawns and pond edges.
The robot lawn mower only mows smaller lawns compared to the other GOAT models.

Definitely not recommended. This robot still needs a lot of work. Navigation is useless. Robot never finds its charging location and permanently gets stuck in preset no-go zones. Forgets to mow half the garden because it thinks it is outside the perimeter. This O-series still needs a lot of improvement before it can compete with a robot with perimeter wire.

I have been using the Ecovacs GOAT O500 Panorama for a few weeks now, and so far I am very satisfied. The fact that the installation was wireless and fast was a big plus for me. Within fifteen minutes the mower was already driving independently through my garden.
The navigation is impressively good; it mows neatly along the edges and around obstacles.

Installing this Goat is incredibly quick. After that, it's less efficient. It simply doesn't know its position to within 40cm. As a result, it skips sections. It mows inside corners at a 45-degree angle, so it skips a whole section. All in all, I regret this purchase. I threw the box away, so I can't return it. Now I just hope for an update that fixes this. Not recommended.
