Description

With the Philips HD9137/90, you prepare boiled eggs for the whole family. You can boil 6 eggs at once. Thanks to the measuring cup, you use exactly enough water for a soft, medium, or hard-boiled egg. The egg cooker gives a signal when the eggs are done. You can do something else while the eggs are boiling. You also receive a holder for 3 poached eggs. This means you can prepare both boiled eggs and poached eggs. With the included egg piercer, you can ensure that the eggs don't crack during boiling. You can store the egg cooker easily thanks to the small size. After use, you can put it in the dishwasher.

Fine egg cooker

Manual

The Philips egg cooker is a truly handy appliance that lets you prepare eggs exactly how you like them. By simply adding the right amount of water, you can determine how your egg turns out. I always go for a soft-boiled egg. The appliance is easy to use and delivers perfect results every time, without the hassle of pans. Its compact size is also ideal: it fits easily in a kitchen cupboard. Perfect if, like me, you love convenience! Small, practical, and reliable. Highly recommended!

Pretty okay with a few minor downsides

six hard-boiled eggs: perfectly cooked!
convenient size
When it is finished, a beep sounds, but the device does not switch off. So you always have to stay nearby to turn it off manually.

Happy with the purchase despite a few minor drawbacks. It is a pity that it does not have a timer setting; that would make setting the desired result (especially for soft-boiled food) much easier.

Review is 7,0 out of 10.

very poor quality

After 2 months of use, the text on the measuring cup is no longer legible.

Can no longer read the measuring cup, so the egg is too hard or too soft.
