DJI Lito X1 + Remote Controller + Intelligent Flight Battery

The DJI Lito X1 is a great drone for beginner drone pilots. I control it easily with the Smart Controller and capture sharp aerial footage for my social media channels. Thanks to the large sensor, I film clear images. If I record in 10-bit and with D-Log M, I have more freedom in post-processing. With obstacle detection, I avoid collisions and land safely. However, I do notice that the drone flies less stably during gusts of wind.

User-friendly controls Even if you have never flown a drone before, the DJI Lito X1 is easy to control. The DJI RC 2 Smart Controller has a built-in screen, allowing me to watch along during the flight without using my smartphone. The controller's LCD screen is bright and clear, allowing me to see my flying environment well and control the drone accurately. The DJI Fly app software is already on the remote control, so I can fly away immediately after charging and pairing the drone and controller. If you buy the Fly More Combo Plus bundle, you get 52 minutes of flight time per Plus battery. This keeps the drone's battery running lower and allows you to become completely absorbed in your flight.

Obstacle Detection Thanks to the obstacle detection at the front of the drone, I worry less about collisions. I use this feature during my flight, but also for safe landings. That is why I find obstacle detection very important as a beginner drone pilot. The Lito X1 avoids obstacles better thanks to the LiDAR sensor at the front. The sensor measures the distance to objects, making it easier for the drone to avoid them. It also recognizes smaller obstacles, such as branches. That is handy when flying in a nature reserve. With the Return to Home function, I land safely back on the ground without hitting anything. That is nice, especially if you still find landing nerve-wracking. This allows me to enjoy flying more and ensures my drone lasts longer.

High Image Quality I find the drone's footage clear and sharp. The Lito X1 films in 4K at a maximum of 100 frames per second. This allows me to effortlessly crop my footage for social media and end up with sharp images. Thanks to the 1/1.3-inch sensor, I shoot clear footage, even when it is cloudy outside. Due to the high frame rate, I can also slow down my videos to create smooth slow-motion shots. I appreciate that I can also record in 10-bit D-Log M with this drone. My footage looks flatter when exporting, but because the camera preserves more detail in dark shadows, I enjoy a lot of flexibility during post-processing. I fine-tune the colors precisely to mimic the colors of my favorite movies. This allows me to get the most out of my recordings.

Handy Features

The DJI Lito X1 has various features that make filming or photographing subjects even easier. I personally like using the ActiveTrack function. With this, I select a subject on my smartphone screen, after which the drone automatically tracks the subject's movements. This makes it easy for me to film myself while walking. The drone keeps me in frame automatically, so I don't have to constantly adjust its direction. The Lito X1 also features QuickShots functions. These are pre-programmed camera movements that allow you to quickly capture cinematic footage. With the Circle function, the drone flies around me, allowing me to capture more of my surroundings. That is useful for footage in a travel vlog or of a hike.

Super compact set with many features. I've had much more expensive drones that didn't have as many features. Flying this drone is very relaxing.
