JBL Partybox 130 Black + JBL Easysing MIC

The JBL Partybox 130 is a powerful party speaker with a huge range of features. For instance, I choose different light themes and add various sound effects. Unfortunately, the speaker doesn't have wheels, but it does weigh 11.3 kilograms.

Balanced sound with powerful bass tones The speaker delivers balanced sound. I use the B button on the speaker to ensure powerful bass tones. With this button, I activate 2 different modes. With a single click, I hear the bass tones sound stronger, allowing me to hear the beat even more clearly. If I press the button again, the bass becomes so powerful that I can almost feel it. I think this is really cool for techno, rap, and house music. As always, I also choose from various equalizer settings. I think the sound is best with the JBL Signature mode, because that's when I hear balanced sound. I find that the sound is a bit sharp in the high frequencies at high volume. For example, the cymbal of a drum kit sounds a bit harsh.

Many options in the app I see many different settings in the JBL One app. This is how I adjust the pattern using Light Control. I choose Disturbance for busy movements and flashing lights. With the Neon setting, the lights move more smoothly and I see various neon colors. I switch between a total of 11 different modes. Additionally, I choose whether to turn on the inner ring or only the outer lights. With the Color Picker, I select any possible color if I want a single color. In the Effect Lab, I add extra effects to the sound. I choose from Repeater, Filter, Gater, Echo, and Wipeout. For instance, with Filter, I create a sort of echoing sound. With Echo, I hear a reverb in the sound. I also choose from various sound effects, such as a horn, cheering, or applause. These effects sound much louder than the music, so they do startle me. Finally, I choose from shouts like ‘Let's Go’ or ‘Let's Party’. With the Pitch Shifter, I make the sound speed up or slow down.
