The problem with a Quooker is that it's functionally excellent, but its lifespan is very limited. This is my third Quooker, and problems with both started after about seven years. The reason I'm buying another one is because of its functionality, which is excellent. Instant hot and boiling water, and energy-efficient. The tap is the weakest point, and repair is virtually impossible. Something broke on two Fusion taps. And the last one also broke the reservoir, which is, of course, out of warranty. I think it's better to get a twin tap (two separate taps). It doesn't look as good, but it has the major advantage of fewer vulnerable parts per tap. Because I have a natural stone countertop, an extra hole wasn't possible, but otherwise, I would have done so. Tip: don't get a combi+ reservoir if you want an energy-efficient system. With that version, the reservoir is filled via the hot water connection. This means that every time you use hot water, the central heating boiler comes on, which is very uneconomical if your boiler is in the attic.
