Expert review ETNA OM670Ti

The ETNA OM670Ti is a solo oven with turbo hot air, so you can prepare multiple dishes at the same time. I was curious if it really worked and tested it. The result? Crispy bread and croissants that were fully done, all at the same time. The nice controls make the oven easy to use. In this review, I'll tell you all about my findings.

First impression of the ETNA OM670Ti

The first thing I notice about the solo oven is how spacious it is on the inside. With the 5 rack levels, you have enough space to prepare bake-off bread or pizzas for multiple people. I'm curious if this really works with turbo hot air. The control panel is a touchscreen, which gives the oven a sleek look in combination with the Black Titanium design. A baking sheet and oven rack are included with the oven.

Cook on multiple levels with turbo hot air

It's a frustration of mine: switching 2 baking sheets around halfway through the preparation because the bottom dish isn't cooking properly. Thanks to turbo hot air, you can cook on multiple levels at a time. To see if this really works, I prepare bake-off bread on the oven rack at the top and croissants on the baking sheet at the bottom. After 14 minutes, everything was fully done. Even multiple frozen pizzas cook well.

Nice controls via the touchscreen

Nice controls via the touchscreen

The touchscreen makes the controls easier. While it's heating up, you'll see a block appear that tells you how for along the pre-heating process it is. The oven doesn't have text on the display, so I had to look up what each symbol means in the manual when I started out.

Many oven functions for various dishes

The oven has even more options in addition to the hot air function, like the pizza setting and a grill. This provides me with many ways to prepare my food. Cakes, pies, and bake-off bread all cook and rise well thanks to the simultaneous upper and lower heat. I turn on the grill for my lasagna so it gets a crispy crust.

Easy to clean

Easy to clean

Even though baking is a lot of fun, cleaning the oven is always the worst part. Luckily the walls of the ETNA OM670Ti are coated. This smooth surface makes sure that food rests can't burn to it very easily. I can effortlessly clean the inside of the oven with a damp cloth. You can also take the oven windows out to easily clean them. I recommend you do this regularly because it's a manual job and the oven won't do this itself, unlike one with pyrolysis, for example.

Conclusion

The ETNA OM670Ti lets you prepare dishes on different levels at the same time with turbo hot air. You won't have to switch around pizzas and bake-off bread halfway through anymore, everything will cook. The touchscreen controls are fast. It'll take a while before you know the settings and symbols by heart, so keep the manual near you in the beginning.
