What's Hue Sports Live during the World Cup?
Hue Sports Live is a temporary function in the Philips Hue app for the World Cup 2026. During a match, your Hue lights respond to important moments such as a goal, penalties, or a card. Philips Hue as lighting partner of the Red Devils
As official lighting partner of the Red Devils, Philips Hue believes in the impact of light on how you live, feel, and perform. With smart lighting, Philips Hue also supports the Red Devils next to the field. This way, Philips Hue helps the players, focus, relax, and recover better after intense matches. During the World Cup, Hue Sports Live brings this collaboration closer to the Belgian supporters at home.
What do you need and how do you set it?
Sports Live only works in a room or zone with at least 1 colored light. You need a Hue Bridge, the Hue app, and at least 1 Hue light with color. After that, open in the app the tab Sync and choose Sports Live - Championship 2026. Select your favorite country, choose your room or zone, and decide which lights participate. The installation only takes a few minutes. You don't need an HDMI Sync Box, separate sync app, or direct connection to your TV.
Use Hue Sports Live during the World Cup
Choose Hue Sports Live if you want to experience the World Cup more intensely at home with Philips Hue. You don't need much, can set everything quickly, and feel important moments better in your house. Good to know: Hue Sports Live is temporary and disappears again after the World Cup.
