The largest standard niche width for a hood is 90 centimeters. A hood of this size therefore catches many cooking fumes. You use a 90 cm wide hood over a large hob or large 5 or 6 burner stove. A hood of this size has a higher extraction capacity and is therefore suitable for a large or open kitchen. Make sure the cooker hood is not too high or too low, otherwise it does not drain all cooking vapors.
