How do you place the Claris Smart water filter in your JURA ENA 8?
Follow the instructions to easily replace the water filter in your JURA ENA 8. The water filter prevents limescale buildup in the pipes of your coffee machine. If you always replace the filter in time, you won't have to descale. You replace the water filter about once every 3 months.
Get started with the water filter
Follow the instructions in the video to place the water filter in the right way. This takes about 10 minutes. We'll go through these steps with you:

How often should you replace the water filter?
You have to replace the water filter once every 3 months. A notification will appear on the display of your coffee machine it's time to do this. This smart water filter works in a very targeted way and prevents 99% of the limescale. When you replace the water filter in time, you'll only have to descale your machine once every 2 years. You should use the Claris Smart water filter by JURA. This water filter fits right into the water tank of the JURA ENA 8.

Step 1. remove the old water filter
- A red icon of the water filter will appear on the display when it's time to replace it.
- Take the water tank out of the machine.
- Empty the water tank in the sink.
- Take the water filter out of the water tank.
- Remove the attachment from the used water filter, and click it onto the new water filter.
Step 2: rinse the water filter
- Place the new water filter in the water tank and click the attachment into place in the opening at the top of the water tank.
- Fill the water tank with water for up to three quarters.
- Place the filled water tank back into the coffee machine.
- The coffee machine rinses the water filter.
- The water filter has been installed successfully in your JURA ENA 8.
