What are the dimensions of my TV?
The size of a TV is determined by the screen size. This is the number of inches between the bottom left corner and the top right corner. Which size fits in your room?
Small televisions
Looking for a TV for smaller rooms, like a bedroom, kitchen, or caravan? Small TVs have a screen size of 32 inches or less.
Medium-sized televisions
Medium-sized televisions fit in most living rooms. A medium-sized TV is between 40 and 55 inches.
Large televisions
Large TVs have a screen size of 58 inches or more, and are suitable for larger living rooms.
What is a screen size?
The size of a television is indicated by the screen size. This is the line that runs from the bottom left corner to the top right corner of the screen. The TV size is always expressed in inches. Usually, you can see the screen size of a model at the beginning of the product name of the television. For example, the product name LG 32LM6300 indicates that the screen of this TV is 32 inches.
How do you measure the screen size of your TV yourself?
Do you want to know what the inch size of your current TV is? You can easily measure the screen size yourself with a measuring tape. Don't use a tape measure, as the metal end can damage your TV screen. If you have the distance from the bottom left corner to the top right corner of your screen in centimeters, multiply that by 0.39. For example, say you measure a screen size of 81 centimeters. This is 81 x 0.39, which equals 31.59. Your screen size is 32 inches.
