UTP cables

With a UTP cable (also known as network, internet, LAN, or Ethernet cable), you connect your equipment to a network or internet. There are different categories of UTP cables, namely CAT5e and CAT6. CAT5e and CAT6 can both handle speeds of up to 1000Mbit/s and are suitable for Gigabit Ethernet. For the average user, a CAT5e internet cable is sufficient. CAT6 is better protected, which makes it less susceptible to interference over longer distances.
