According to our slicer expert
Powerful motor and a lightly serrated stainless steel blade for bread, vegetables, cold cuts, and more. You can adjust the thickness precisely up to 15mm.
Stable and safe thanks to the metal housing, rubber suction feet, and thumb guard.
The carriage is angled, so the food slides toward the blade easily.
It only has a serrated knife, so it¿s less suitable for cheese and delicate cold cuts like ham.
A knife sharpener or drip tray isn't included.
You can use the DOMO DO521S slicer for simple cutting jobs at home. The large, lightly serrated, stainless steel knife with a 19cm diameter lets you effortlessly slice different types of foods into thick or thin slices. You can select the thickness yourself, from 1 to 15mm. The slicer feels extra sturdy, because it has 4 rubber leg stands. These leg stands prevent the slicer from sliding away and provide extra grip on smooth surfaces, such as the counter. Are you done with the slicer? The blade is easy to remove, so you can effortlessly clean the machine.
After having had a previous DOMO, purchased this device. Previous device stayed with my ex, was very satisfied with it, and thought that this device would deliver the same quality. The larger diameter was also a plus for me, because I mainly want to cut bread with it. What I don't like is the knife. the bread is, as it were, flattened before it really starts to cut. I use this 99% for cutting homemade bread. The bread has cooled, have already tried variations of crusts, but remains the same. I think the knife should cut better.

Great for slicing homemade bread. In addition, also good cutting vegetables, carrots, sausage and even cheese (with young cheese leave the rind on for a while). The 150W motor is strong enough. So we're happy with it. . . highly recommended

The device itself works well, completely satisfied, but the knife is of inferior quality. I still had a 19 cm knife from an older DOMO from Sollingen, I have adapted this and built it in now I am 100% satisfied. As far as Coolblue is concerned: Saturday evening the old cutting machine failed, immediately ordered a new one from coolblue and delivered at home on Sunday morning at 1005 hrs at no extra cost. in one word PERFECT
