According to our monitor expert
The iiyama XB2380HS is a 23-inch Full HD monitor. The IPS panel means your screen will be razor sharp from all angles. The 5ms response time means the iiyama XB2380HS is particularly suitable for displaying fast-paced movements, allowing for smooth action scenes in movies. The iiyama XB2380HS can be pivoted 90 degrees. This is useful for word processing or making presentations, for instance, as it gives you a better overview of the screen. The iiyama XB2380HS is also tilts, swivels, and is height adjustable. The monitor also features a matte frame, which means it won't be a magnet for dust and fingerprints. Thanks to the integrated speakers, you can play music and videos with sound directly from your monitor.

I was looking for a replacement for my previous Samsung Syncmaster 21" screen. I had a number of criteria that the screen had to meet:
There were actually few monitors in that category, mainly because of the requirement to have internal speakers.
This Iiyama ProLite XB2380HS gets good reviews on various sites, so I bought it.
I am very pleased with it. The colors are lifelike. In fact, the screen is so bright that I regularly use the "eco button" at the bottom of the screen to decrease the brightness. If the background is white, the "brightness" really hits your face. With that eco button you can reduce the brightness to -10%, -20% or -35% with one push of the button. Really handy. For movies and non-white backgrounds, I naturally set the button back to 100% brightness.
Design: the monitor is as flat as it should be. The system to display the screen 90° turning, tilting, raising is FANTASTIC: with my previous Samsung you had to drag and pull on it, but with this Iiyama you just slide it up/down and tilt it any way you want. Nothing clicks into place, but the internal balance system ensures that the screen remains as you want. For example, you can also change your screen 10° to twist; even then it just stays in perfect position. According to reviews, the predecessor of this monitor (the Iiyama X2377HDS, still available at CoolBlue) only had an unstable and bland base. That is different with this XB2380HS! A robust and stable thing. The base even has a rotating base, so you can just "spin" your monitor around.
Image quality: The colors are (as befits an IPS screen) lifelike and very correct. I don't mind ghosting, and this monitor is really fantastic in that regard. Haven't noticed any ghosting yet.
Sound: the monitor has internal speakers that produce a very shrill and ugly sound. The volume is also very limited. Because music sounds so shrill and sharp, I used a software equilizer to raise the bass and lower the sharp tones, but it's still nothing to write home about. By the way, if you turn the bass too loud, the speaker will immediately "mute", giving you music in peaks and troughs. The speakers are a real disappointment. It might be just OK to briefly watch a sound clip or YouTube video, but unfortunately this monitor is a disaster to listen to music.
Accessories: supplied with VGA, audio and DVI cable. Unfortunately no HDMI cable.
Installation: I've never had such a simple installation. You don't need a screwdriver or anything. just click the screen on the pedestal, tighten the screw by hand and you're done. The settings are quite easy to operate via the classic menu.

After years of using a decent desk monitor from Acer to edit photos, I am very satisfied with the ILYAMA XB2380HS. Razor-sharp images, true colors, fast response time and done with annoying reflection and reduced image quality when changing viewing angle. Too bad I don't have room for a bigger monitor. The tiltable screen is very practical! Price/quality ratio is ratio here. I personally find the monitor setting menu to be a minus.

This monitor displays the colors very correctly, white is white and black is black. The image is also very clear and sharp. The best monitor I've ever owned so far. Also nice is that a VGA and DVI cable is included. And they do what they say here, I ordered it around 10 p.m. and it was delivered the following morning.
