Polar H7 Heart Rate Sensor Bluetooth Smart M-XXL Black

This heart rate monitor is comfortable thanks to the pleasantly flexible materials. The transmitter clicks on and off easily (unplug it when not in use to save the battery!). This makes this heart rate monitor easy to maintain. I use the Polar H7 in combination with the iPhone 5 and the Polar Beat app. I also tested the Runkeeper app. Both apps work perfectly: - Enable Bluetooth on iPhone - launch app - click transmitter on chest strap ... and within 2 seconds the heart rate is recognized and displayed. The cool thing is that the H7 also still works with my old Polar F4 watch and with the fitness devices with heart rate monitor in addition to Bluetooth. As for the apps, I think that's largely a personal choice. Polar Beat looks slick and automatically syncs with the Polar Personal Trainer website without you having to do anything. Because I've been using Polar's website for years, I chose the Polar Beat app. The app provides enough basic information but no more than that. The app is still being developed by Polar so I expect that this app will be expanded in the coming months. After each kilometer, the app gives you a spoken summary of distance, time and average heart rate. The in-app purchase 'Fitness test' is a real shame: 3.59 euros with which you can measure your fitness level while lying on the couch. Very handy were it not that that data is NOT forwarded to Polar Personal Trainer and, even worse, that the app on your iPhone does NOT adjust your training zones to your fitness level. RunKeeper is a lot more extensive in terms of information and possibilities compared to Polar Beat and synchronizes with the RunKeeper website. Due to the larger amount of information on the screen, I find the readability and user-friendliness slightly less than with Polar Beat. So Polar Beat: (enough) basic information with a clear display; RunKeeper: much more information and possibilities and therefore smaller buttons and letters. But both apps are free so anyone can test and decide which app is best for you. And of course there are plenty of other apps you can try...

The strap of the heart rate monitor is not disturbing or will irritate, makes direct bluetooth contact with my Android phone (note 3) Works great with the fantastic Endomondo app. So the Polar H7 works great with the Endomondo app and on Android. (So this was nowhere to be found clearly on the Internet, so now tested myself) Use both every other day. Clean the band well dry (otherwise the transmitter can remain on) clicking it off is also sufficient, I always do it myself) Battery to be replaced, but not yet needed. Top product

I use the polar H7 band for my indoor cycling group lessons and I can only say that it is simply the best move I have ever made to really personally guide people through the TV screen. Let everyone work at the same level and also give a group feeling together. Nobody sees how hard it is for you, because your condition determines your heart rate and your resistance that you have to use, so you no longer have to measure yourself with your neighbor because everyone cycles on the same wavelength.
