The device doesn't have an integrated socket to connect another device.
The Devolo dLAN 500 Duo Starter Kit is a powerline starter kit. With these powerline adapters, you can set up network via your home's mains electricity. The internet is routed via a socket, so you won't have to run long cables through your home. The adapters in the Devolo dLAN 500 Duo Starter Kit have 2 network connectors, allowing you to include your desktop and your printer to the home network, sharing internet with both devices.
I bought this to replace an existing installation, due to the need for a double input for connecting an HD digicorder and a network surround system and the lack of a network connection. plug & play, sufficiently fast streaming full hd content without stuttering. does what it promises.

The Devolo dLAN 500 Duo Starter Kit is easy to use and does what it's supposed to do. We use this kit to be able to enjoy digital television in the bedroom. After a fast delivery, as always with Coolblue, only the adapters had to be plugged in and connected. No configuration required! After a few days, the green light turned yellow and the signal on the digibox was of poor quality. The solution for this was very simple, just put the adapter in a different socket and everything went smoothly again.
