Sony Battery Charger BC-TRW

Review

one of the disadvantages that you have when you buy a sony nex camera is that it does not come with a separate battery charger. Sony only has this available as an accessory and in the end there is nothing wrong with that.

What strikes me in the search for the charger is that coolblue seems to be the only one that can supply this charger.

Packaging:

The charger comes in a solid packaging as we are used to from Sony. The box contains the power cable, of course the charger and user manual available in twenty languages, and a folder for Sony European guarantee.

The latter can be used to register your Sony purchase to arrange tips, possible updates or warranty. (guarantee is of course also possible via coolblue)

charger:

The adapter can charge batteries from the W series. These are supplied in various Sony system cameras. The charging time of an empty battery is approximately 220 minutes. The chager shows the status on the basis of three LED lights, when all three lights light up green, the battery is fully charged. The product is solid and on the small side. This makes the charger very user-friendly and perfect for a holiday.

The same applies to the charger as to the batteries: we have tried (cheaper) alternatives for our Sony NEX and Alpha cameras, but here too the following applies: cheap is expensive. This original Sony charger works fast, is super small and just does what it's supposed to do! Excellent result, so don't hesitate and just order this charger from Coolblue!

After I had a B brand as a charger, this original Sony charger is a breath of fresh air. The battery is firmly in the charger and charges quickly.
